Imperial Commander gone back to Ireland after Grand National

Imperial Commander who bled and was found to still be suffering from a lung infection after the Grand National has gone back to Ireland for a break. There has been no decision on his retirement yet and a lot will depend on how he seems after a good holiday. On another racing note Empiracle who was favourite for the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham Imperial Chas got a tendon injury and will out for a year. Not good news about our horses but racing is a rollercoaster ride so hopefyully there will be better news soon. Imperial eating up just after the Grand National.
