| RETURN STEAM TRAIN TRANSFER |
Our magnificent steam train transfer travels from Toddington Railway Station directly to the back of the main Grandstand at Cheltenham Racecourse. The steam train is extremely beneficial to guests as there is a lot of traffic in and around Cheltenham and the surrounding area, and it can be very difficult getting in and out of the racecourse. With the train, you and your guest will miss all of the traffic and congestion and you will arrive nice and relaxed, in style and together as a group.
Toddington Railway Station is ideally situated in a completely traffic free part of the Cotswolds, and it is very easy to get to from most places. Once you have arrived, guests can relax and indulge in the nostalgic and tranquil setting or some may wish to take a few pictures of the magnificent and priceless locomotives before taking their seat.
A full cash bar service is also available throughout the outbound and return journey where tea, coffee, beers, wines, soft drinks and Champagne is available to purchase from our on board staff. The steam train will depart Toddington and will embark on a 35 minute journey through the beautiful countryside of the Costwold, Malverns and Vale of Evesham. You will arrive relaxed and in style as you pull into Cheltenham Racecourse station which is situated just a furlong from the Paddock and opposite the North entrance. You will pass close by the long traffic queues to get in and out of the racecourse – a truly amazing and amusing experience.
The steam train will depart back to Toddington 30 minutes after the last race has finished, leaving you plenty of time to collect any winnings, finish off your hospitality and return to the steam train. You will also miss all of the traffic in and around the Cheltenham area on your return journey.

The Cheltenham Festival is without doubt the greatest racing Festival of the year, as the sight of the very best National Hunt horses leaping the Cheltenham fences is breath taking. Our private and shared Chase View boxes have balconies that give you a wonderful view of the horses jumping the most important fences in a race, the last two, before powering up the hill to the winning post. The winners are often the horses that jump these last two fences quickly and fluently. It is a wonderful sight and so convenient in that as soon as the race is over you will be able to take a few steps back to your table to continue your hospitality and anticipate the next race and try to predict the drama and result that will unfold.
Private boxes are available for groups of 30 / 40 + guests with smaller numbers accommodated in shared boxes. Our private and shared boxes are located on two levels in the temporary structure by the last fences. The boxes are glass fronted, course facing with viewing balcony and in a prime position standing very close to the trackside.
The boxes are the best available at Cheltenham outside of the main Grandstand, offering a stylish and spacious area in which to entertain. There is also a large TV screen opposite the balcony so it is easy for clients to follow their race selections. Betting facilities & toilets are easily accessed on the box corridor, avoiding the hassle of having to travel outside of your box into the crowds.

We are delighted to be able to offer a unique opportunity for you to have hospitality within a shared 60 seater suite in the main Grandstand for sit down dining. Any number of guests can be catered for with private tables of 10 / 12 available and smaller numbers accommodated on shared tables. Our light and spacious suite with full hospitality, hostess service and large TV is located at the back of the main Grandstand. The suite comes with reserved member’s seats which are yours for the day and are located on level 3, directly over the winning post. They are only a short walk away from the hospitality suite and give you the best possible view of the racing. There are toilets and a Tote facility outside the suite and you also have access to a balcony overlooking the Parade Ring.
The view from your seats is the best view on the course. There are panoramic views to your left and the finish takes place in front of you, with the Winning Post directly below. In addition, to your right, there is a large screen for close-up viewing of the race when the horses are on the far side of the course. Your reserved member’s seats are allocated in blocks so all of your guests will be seated together.
The main Grandstand is the best place to experience the Cheltenham atmosphere. You will be in the perfect place to enjoy the legendary Cheltenham atmosphere and famous roar at the start of each day. Also, the winners will walk back in front of you on their way to the Winners Enclosure to the cheers of the crowd. Truly amazing!
